Can i still get the bank job?

So I talked to the hiring manager of the bank he really liked me he told me to apply online so i did but it was taking so long for HR to replay back so he gave me an interview. The next day i got an email saying that i don't qualify for the job (I don't get why because i have 3 years of cash handling/costumer service experience). So my question is would i still be able to get the job after i go to the interview with the hiring manager of the bank?
