What kind of eye makeup brings out dark brown eyes?

i bought the eye shadow at walmart that is speicfically for dark brown eyes its called the one sweep eye shadow by loreal, at the bottom of your eyelid is a thin strip of dark purple then a thick gray strip above it then a light pink above the gray, the container says its for playful brown eyes
