Is it fine to go and take tourist visa to Canada?

I am Philippine pasport currently working here in Dubai as a Costumer Service Executive. I am planning to go Canada as a tourist to find a job. Please I need your advice if its ok that I take a risk to go Canada without any assurance of having success to find a job? Please advice. thank u and more power.
